Friday The 13th TV Series
Friday the 13th: The Series is a TV series which was running for three seasons, from September 28, 1987 to May
26, 1990. Originally, this TV series was to be titled The 13th Hour, but Frank Mancuso Jr. (producer) thought that
the audiences would not like it and instead used the name “Friday the 13th” to deliberately attract the
audiences.

series, TV series and movie series, however have several crew and actors ties. The TV series producer, Frank

released by Paramount (Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan back in 1989, a year before the TV
series finished its airplay.
The TV series main cast, John D. LeMay, is also starred in movie series Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday.
Guest star John Shepherd in one of the TV series episode, played Tommy Jarvis in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning.
Episode director David Cronenberg also appeared in Jason X. Tom McLoughlin, Fred Mollin, and Rob Hedden were also
part of the crews of both series.
